Theo Kogan Does Tie Die

by Elizabeth Jaime posted at July 30th, 2009

Model, actress, singer Theo Kogan needs an intern a few hours a week and Mike recommended moi!  I will still be his intern as well,  but working with Theo will be tons of fun.  I met her last night at the party at Bendels and she said she was going to give me a ring soon.  She showed up sporting her tie die nails she accidentaly did at Mikes apartment while shooting photographs for Knock Out.

What do you think?

Christopher Kane resort 2010

by Elizabeth Jaime posted at July 30th, 2009

In Christopher Kane‘s first pre-collection, he draws up a rather non traditional source of inspiration.  The super saturated mushroom cloud prints found on the internet were nuclear test explosions from the fifties all the way to the seventies.

Any thoughts?

Last night was the launch for the last summer colors, Concrete and Pool, at Henri Bendels. There was everything from free manicures to concrete colored champagne.  The after party at Heathers on the Lower East Side was tons of fun, even though the rain did not subside.   Turns out that we aren’t the only ones who love KO.

Spotted

by Elizabeth Jaime posted at July 29th, 2009

So I am watching my favorite show The Price is Right and they just gave away three pairs of Christian Louboutins and an Escada gown. Umm, what happened to the days where they use to give away bed spreads and dining room tables? Apparently they’ve hopped on the fashion wagon….

Tattoo NO, nails YES

While reading Perez Hilton today I came across this picture of Katy Perry’s new tattoo. In my opinion, the tattoo is hideous but what about those nails? How awesome are they! They almost make up for that strawberry jam mess she’s got on her foot now…

Terence Koh Ties the Knot.

by Elizabeth Jaime posted at July 28th, 2009

“We were like children sitting on the tree; I put my veil over him and I whispered secret promises to him in my private secret language. And that was it: simple, like snow falling during the warm summer moon.”

New York based artist Terence Koh creates books, photographs, sculptures, installations and we can’t forget his flare for fashion.  He tied the knot to his boyfriend of over a decade, graphic designer artist Garrick Got,  even though the nuptials may not be legal in the eyes of New York.  He also designed his own dress!  “I designed the dress myself. It was my mom’s dress, and I just went and bought $50 of tulle. Then Jen Brill, Stella Schnabel, and Kathy Grayson—they were the bestest bridesmaids—helped me sew it on last minute. It felt like a floating snowball.”

Photo cred goes to the designer of Sophmore Chrissie Miller and made available to us via style.com

Here is another picture of Koh in the Kai Kuhne jacket I dropped of for him!

“I’m pretty good at the sex. And pretty good at picture taking. That’s about it. Garance is pretty happy. And the hotel-room neighbours are pretty pissed. You can write that; that’s totally fine with me.” —Scott “The Sartorialist” Schuman, in Canada’s Globe and Mail via OMGblog.

Because I want some! They’ve been thinking up some crazy things lately. Just like this unisex shirt. It’s called the Thermochromatic Sheer Jersey T-shirt and it changes color according to how cold or hot it is! Check out the pictures for yourself.
