So the last few days have been more work than play here in Miami. Yesterday I was on set with Italian Vogue from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Today I picked up the Senior Fashion editor and her assistant and helped them unpack for the beauty story tomorrow. I am exhausted but had the best time! Oh, Italian Vogue how happy you make me…

Italian Vogue Again!by Elizabeth Jaime posted at November 23rd, 2009
I came to Miami with the intentions to lounge by the pool, hang out with friends and family, and go to the beach. Today I got a call about a shoot for Italian Vogue. There will be 10 models so the stylist and her 1st assistant will need some more hands. I couldn’t be more ecstatic and although this kind of interrupts my vacation it is beyond worth it.
I’ll get back to you with more details.
Odette and Odileby Elizabeth Jaime posted at November 22nd, 2009
I don’t know if this editorial is supposed to resemble Swan Lake in any way or if I am the last person to realize that it is…anyways these pictures from Numero seem to be inspired by Odette and Odile i.e. black and white, the tutus, the swan like poses. Either way, I love it and I hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

The world has gone Gaga.by Elizabeth Jaime posted at November 22nd, 2009
Some of you may or may not know but about 2 months ago I was on set with the wonderful Lady Gaga. I was assisting stylist Nicola Formichetti (well like the 3rd assistant). If you don’t know who he is, I highly suggest you check out some of his work. He is currently the fashion director for many Magazines such as Dazed and Confused, Vogue Hommes Japan, Another Man, and V. Nicola is one of the many stylist I really look up to and admire. He is responsible for a lot of Gaga’s styling although the Lady herself knows exactly what she wants. I only found a few photos online from the shoot but here they are!
Here are some of my other favorites from Nicola…
Reunited.by Elizabeth Jaime posted at November 22nd, 2009
It has been a while since I have been back home to Miami. Yesterday I said goodbye to New York for about two weeks. Part of me felt a bit of anxiety when I decided to stay for that long. I always feel like I’m going to miss out on something in New York, but a little breather from the city that never sleeps sounds good to me.
Before I left, I had a great opportunity. Avena (one of the stylist I work for) asked me to help her with some research for Camilla Nickerson. For those of you who are not familiar with her, she is one of the biggest stylists working in the industry. She is currently the senior fashion editor and W magazine. Needless to say it was a great experience.
While I am here Eli and I have some great things planned. Pictures and more updates to come!
