I’ll start off by posting this dress I made about a year ago. I call it the peacock dress because well – it has peacock feathers. This dress was pretty hard to make because it has boning in the bust as well as multiple layers of tulle on the skirt. The cinching of the tulle in the skirt area was achieved all by hand. I would take a single layer of tulle and sew a piece of thread at the top. Then I would pull back at the fabric so it would crunch up on the thread. This took a lot of time as you can imagine. I’ve actually never worn this out anywhere and plan on putting it in a frame much like this so I can hang out in my house one day.
