Up for Grabs: If You Have to Cry Go Outside…give away!

Hi everyone! Well, here it is –In Between Seams first give away! Recently I read Kelly Cutrones’ If You Have To Cry, Go Outside and absolutely loved it. Kelly gives the reader a no BS approach to being successful not just in the fashion industry –but also in life. I absolutely loved it and read the whole thing in a flight from Miami to New York. I highly suggest it and that is why I’m letting one of you win my copy! I’ve already read it and no one else at Ludlow wants to read it so –why not!? If you’d like to win the book, comment on this post telling me a good book you recently read. The contest will stay open until Friday night and a winner will be selected at random. Good luck!
[EDIT: Alessandro won! Thanks for playing you guys. For those of you wondering how I did it since Alessandro commented four times --I just counted him as number 3 since he was the third person to comment and then just continued with Kimberly as four. Thanks!]

This one’s kind o a secret: Take Ivy by Hachette Fujingaho- In the late sixties, a forward thinking Japanese photographer traveled throughout the northeastern United States stopping at each of the Ivy League schools to document the style of the era. The resulting book, cryptically titled Take Ivy, is pure genius. The photo book was out of print until a few years ago when a small run was re-released, only to immediately sell out. I have tried to recreate the spirit of the book as best I can through these scans. Further proof that preppy / Ivy League style transcends time and trends:
