It’s Monday again. Eek! How was your weekend? Right now, I’m about to run to the Fashionista office and do my thing there. Is anybody wishing for fall as bad as I am?!

Chalk Walls

by Elizabeth Jaime posted at September 19th, 2010

Remember when Nicholas and I painted a wall in our living room/kitchen blue at the beginning of spring? Well, it was great. It kept us happy during summer and that was all it needed to do. Now, we know Fall is a few days away, no? We’ve been contemplating repainting that wall to a darker, more fall/wintery. Browns came into mind, dark reds came into mind, and you can imagine what other colors. However, I thought to do a something little different. I want to paint that wall with some chalk paint. Not only do I actually like the color of the paint but I like the fact that you can personalize it if you want. I think its fun and knowing us –it won’t even be up for long. What do you think?

Being in the city, I hardly get to see any greenery. I mean, even if you think about it, I didn’t really see much greenery in Miami either –just ocean. It’s beautiful and I’m so glad I got to get out of the city and go to Blue Hill Farm!

SATOMI KAWAKITA

Please excuse my absence. I’ve been busy here and here. I do admit I will be posting less, but if you’re still interested in what I have to say you can read my posts on Fashionista.com

As for today, I have something lovely I stumbled upon a few weeks ago. Lovely engagement rings. Satomi Kawakita’s wedding and engagement rings are so beautiful. I’m glad to see that there’s been a shift from flashy, expensive wedding rings to more subtle, beautiful, unique wedding rings. She uses a beautiful unpolished diamond that I actually think looks prettier than most polished diamonds. My favorite? Definitely GDR05 and GDR02. I also really like how the men’s bands are unique yet simple. What do you think?
