Hearst Castle

After our little bump in the road, we had time to kill so we decided to check out the Hearst Castle which was close by. It was massive and I felt like I was in Europe during the Renaissance or something.

This room was my favorite.

This pool is massive!! I like your trip photos!
Can I ask something? What do you do to your outdoor photos and have this “yellow-ish” effect? can you share this tip with me??

    Hi Anna,

What I do is I take the photos in RAW format then used Adobe Lightroom to develop them. When developing them, I use a preset that I’ve created where I basically have just altered the curves and levels. That’s the long answer, ha! In short, I just mess with the curves and levels of the pictures!

It’s unbelievable it’s like modern Rome or at least what I would like modern Rome to look like :-)

It’s a great location for a full photoshoot!

(Anna I am completely hopeless with picys but I too use the yellowy vintage effect. My system is a lot less sophisticated but it might help too. I use a program for mac called toy camera)

I believe this is the house featured in that Demi Moore and Robert Redford movie Indecent Proposal. I just saw that movie on HBO and I believe it is the same house.
